The unit comprises an outer cylindrical tube and an inner piston-cylinder tube (7). The piston rod (1) is moved up or down hydraulically in the inner tube, whenever required. The arrangement is designated as an energy accumulator, a conical return spring (19) being included in a lower piston-cylinder arrangement, to re-extend the piston rod after the control is operated. A pull-rod in the guidance section operates the control unit. Oil from the inner cylinder is displaced between the pistons by the control component. The unit is either made of metal or is non-metallic.
