The face mask includes two planar lenses (30, 40). These are held in a soft surrounding skirt (50) connected to the ends of the head strap (60). The lenses are located in the eye openings and include an interspace, to minimize misting inside the inner lens. A spacer intervenes between the lenses. This comprises double-sided adhesive foam tape. A frame is included, in which the lenses are spaced. On the inner side of the inner lens, there is an anti-misting layer.
