<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell which efficiently generates power by preventing fuel gas and oxidizing gas from leaking. <P>SOLUTION: When making a passage for fuel gas or oxidizing gas and residues by projecting and recessed parts 12, 13 formed by compression molding, since density around the recessed parts becomes high, extra grooves 15 are provided, and this separator having uniform density as a whole can be manufactured. Thereby, the separator not only causing leakage, but also having no partial difference in its strength and no so called directionality can be obtained, and its power generating efficiency becomes higher in comparison with a conventional one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
