<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost polymer electrolyte fuel cell capable of efficiently using a fuel even when separator plates having dispersion in pressure loss of gas passages are used. <P>SOLUTION: This polymer electrolyte fuel cell is provided with a plurality of separator plates for a fuel cell where a passage group comprising a plurality of parallel passages snaking between parallel sides is formed. In the polymer electrolyte fuel cell, the separator plates for a fuel cell are provided with an intermediate manifold for collecting and equalizing a fluid at a position without causing fuel shortage in an intermediate part of the passage group which is obtained based on dispersion in the plurality separators for a fuel cell of loss of pressure imposed when the fluid flows through the passages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
