<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retroreflective sign body having a clearly visible pattern as a sign and high in the degree of freedom of an installation place. <P>SOLUTION: A pattern part 11 and a substrate part 12 are formed of prism retroreflective bodies to enhance the retroreflective luminance of the whole sign surface 1 to thereby enhance visibility, but since a peripheral edge outer part 3 of the substrate part 12 is formed of a prism retroreflective body, the retroreflective luminance difference between the peripheral edge part 2 of a main part of the pattern part 11 and the peripheral edge outer part 3 around it is reduced to make the pattern as the sign clearly visible. Furthermore, since the pattern part 11 is visualized by contrast between the pattern part 11 and the substrate part 12, the pattern part 11 is clearly visible regardless of the color tone of a background, and the degree of freedom of the installation place can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
