<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of restraining environmental pollution and improving the utilization efficiency of fuel, and a transport apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A direct methanol type fuel cell system is mounted to a two-wheeled vehicle. The fuel cell system is composed of a cell stack formed by laminating a plurality of fuel battery cells, a liquid solution tank 130 storing a liquid solution of methanol supplied to an anode of each fuel battery cell, a catch tank 140 arranged at the upper part of the liquid solution tank 130, and pipes P20, P21 jointing the liquid solution tank 130 to the catch tank 140. The methanol and vapor vaporized in the liquid solution tank 130 are supplied to the catch tank 140 through the pipe P20. The methanol vaporized in the catch tank 140 and the liquid solution of methanol obtained by liquefying the vapor are supplied to the liquid solution tank 130 through the pipe P21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
