<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plurality of observers to conduct information input operation by a coordinate input device visibly and simultaneously by changing a detection coordinate axis of the coordinate input device in synchronization with a time division display timing of a plurality of display screens. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device enlarges and projects an image of a light valve on a screen by a projection optical system. The image display device enables the plurality of the observers to observe each image visually and simultaneously by observing a projected image which is displayed in time division through S polarized glasses and P polarized glasses wherein each of the S polarized and P polarized images is displayed in time division. The observers F, H can conduct pen input operation corresponding to each of the images 5, 6 by switching the coordinate axes 62 and 63 of the coordinate input device in synchronization with an S polarized shutter and P polarized shutter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
