<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating type dry distillation furnace having improved processing capability by continuously giving dry distillation processing to dry-distilled materials with no explosive combustion of flammable gas generated therefrom to shorten a time required for one batch. <P>SOLUTION: The induction heating type dry distillation furnace gives dry distillation processing to the dry-distilled materials 7 with induction heating of a dry distillation tank 2 storing the dry distilled materials 7 in a furnace body 1 under an inactive gas atmosphere and discharges the dry-distilled materials after processing from the lower part of the furnace body 1. A sealed-structure discharge chamber 12 and a conveyor duct 13 are connected to the lower part of the furnace body 1, a conveyor 17 is installed in the conveyor duct 13, and a means is provided for substituting with inactive gas the discharge chamber 2 and the conveyor duct 13. After nitrogen substitution is given to the discharge chamber 12, a bottom cover 6 of the furnace body 1 is opened to discharge the dry-distilled materials 7 after dry distillation processing onto the conveyor 17. Since no outside air enters into the furnace during discharging the dry-distilled materials 7, no need exists for inactive gas substitution in the furnace before charging the next-treatment dry-distilled materials 7, and since the discharge chamber 12 has low oxygen concentration, no oxidation occurs in the metal components of the discharged dry-distilled materials 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
