<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system capable of realizing images that do not have the sense of incongruity, when carrying out tiling projection. <P>SOLUTION: The projection system 10 carries out the tiling projection by using projectors 1A, 1B and includes a layout information generating means 111 for generating layout information, associated with the laid-out positions of the projectors 1A, 1B at the tiling projection; an overlapped information generating means 21 for generating overlap information associated with an overlap range of projected images; and a write start/end position arithmetic means 113 for calculating the write start position of image information by the projectors 1A, 1B so that the image information is written with the same timing, even in the overlapped region of the projected images, when the projectors 1A, 1B start writing of the image information for one frame with the same timing, on the basis of the layout information and the overlap information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
