PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm gas meter capable of improving the performance of instrumental error as well as stabilizing the reciprocating motion of the measuring diaphragm. SOLUTION: The gas meter body 21 comprises: the gas flow-in port and gas flow-out port; a measurement chamber 23 communicating with the flow-in port; the valve mechanism for distributing the flow-in gas from the flow-in port into the metering chamber provided in the gas meter main body; the measurement diaphragm 25 provided with a diaphragm plate 26 reciprocating by the gas pressure provided in the metering chamber; the vane shaft 29 provided freely rotatably while co-operating with the valve mechanism in the gas meter body; the rotation vane 30 for transmitting the reciprocating motion to the vane shaft as a rotational motion. The connection part comprises the hinged base 28 provided with a bearing hole 27 and hinge shaft 31 rotatably supported by the bearing hole of the hinge base provided on the rotary vane.
