PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for tilting a valve element in a specific direction stably in an intake valve and/or an exhaust valve connecting the valve element with a stem movably. SOLUTION: In this valve gear constituted by forming the stem 60 and the valve element 61 as separate units and connecting the valve element 61 with the stem 60 movably, the valve element 61 is always moved in a fixed direction by utilizing inertia force generated when opening and closing the valve element 61 by offsetting a connection position of the stem 60 and the valve element 61 from center of gravity 63 of the valve element 61.
