PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent setting error of continuous paper to a tractor. SOLUTION: In a dot impact printer for recording an image on the continuous paper by projecting a recording wire from a recording head 30 having the recording wire toward the continuous paper conveyed by a rear tractor 271, a restriction member 70 for restricting a distal end position of the continuous paper at setting of the continuous paper is provided near the rear tractor 271.
