PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartoning machine with a high degree of stability as well as both an intermittent operating function and a continuous operating function. SOLUTION: This cartoning machine comprises a product transferring section 2 capable of changing-over between a continuous transferring operation and an intermittent transferring operation, a carton transferring section 4 arranged side by side at the product transferring section and capable of changing-over between the continuous transferring or intermittent transferring of the carton 3 filled with products, a plurality of charging sections provided on one side of the product transferring section to enable a changing-over between an X-Y axis operation (A) and a Y-axis operation (B) of the charging pushers 5a, 5b for charging the product placed at the product transferring section into the carton at the carton transferring section, sealing sections 6 arranged on both sides of the carton transferring section to enable a changing-over between a reciprocating operation toward the transferring direction and a fixing operation to seal the carton after charging the product, and a control means for performing a synchronous control of a driving means for independently driving each of the product transferring section, carton transferring section, charging section and sealing section so as to perform a series of operations.
