PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating carrying container which improves handling of a heated asphalt mixture upon loading the material into a truck bed at a factory or carrying out the mixture at a restoration work site to reduce labor in transporting the mixture. SOLUTION: A base material 10 is composed of base cloths 11 and 13 on the outermost side and the innermost side, which include heat resistant synthetic fiber fabrics 11B, 13B with a gas-impermeable reinforcing layer 11A formed at least on the outer surface of the fabrics 11B, 13B, respectively, and an insulating material 12 interposed between the base cloths 11, 13.
