PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide additional guidance such as first arrival/transfer information followed by an operation arrangement of a diagram line by a system with a hardware constitution as easy as possible, in a passenger guidance function exerted in railway stations. SOLUTION: This passenger guidance system for guiding trains to passengers at stations comprises a central processing unit 1 having a basic diagram as a database, receiving operation arrangement inputs 6 corresponding to an operation schedule of each day to the basic diagram and creating a working diagram used for actual operation control, and a station management device 2 outputting it to a departure sign and a broadcasting sound source. The central processing unit 1 has a passenger guidance edition/management means 7 editing and managing the additional guidance information such as first arrival/transfer guidance corresponding to the operation arrangement inputs 6. The station management device 2 receives the additional guidance information corresponding to the operation arrangement inputs from the central processing unit 1, and guides the trains.
