PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head which reduces fluctuation of jet characteristics by improving the position accuracy of piezoelectric vibrators. SOLUTION: A passage unit 26 which includes both a passage formation substrate 11 with a row of pressure generation chambers 19 that communicate with nozzle openings 15 set in a row and a diaphragm 12, a vibrator unit 30 whereat the piezoelectric vibrators 14 for making the pressure generation chambers 19 generate a pressure are fixed in the shape of a row to a fixing plate 20, and a head case 16 to which the passage unit 26 is fixed and in which the vibrator unit 30 is stored are prepared. Piezoelectric material plates 40 are fixed to both faces of the fixing plate 20 to respectively project from one ends of the fixing plate 20. To the two piezoelectric material plates 40 of both faces of the fixing plate 20, notches 34 are simultaneously formed by the same wire saw 41 from projecting ends to fixing parts. A plurality of the notches 34 are formed by a constant pitch. The piezoelectric vibrators 14 each in the shape of a rod are set in the row at both faces of the fixing plate 20.
