PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding toy which prevents a little child who is on from falling from a car. SOLUTION: The riding toy is provided with a handle cover body 1 freely detachably put on the steering ring body 4 of a handle 3. Also, projection parts 5 with a locking receiving part 6 are provided on both left and right end parts of the handle cover body 1. Further, left and right handrail rods 2 for falling prevention are provided on positions above the seat part 11 of the car 10. The rear end part of the handrail rod 2 is attached so as to be swung horizontally and/or vertically to a pusher member 8 raised at the rear part of the car 10. A locking part 7 provided on the front end of the handrail rod 2 is locked to the locking receiving part 6 of the handle cover body 1 so as to be freely engaged and disengaged.
