<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control ignition due to the heating of a dryer for a gas generated by evaporation of a cleaning liquid. <P>SOLUTION: In this printing machine or coating machine, the dryer 30 equipped with a UV lamp is installed in the vicinity of an impression cylinder 9 of each printing unit 3A to 3D, and a rubber cylinder 8 and the impression cylinder 9 are each equipped with a cleaning device 18. Further, in the vicinity of each dryer 30, a gas concentration detection sensor 35 which detects the concentration of the gas generated by the volatilization of a solvent of the cleaning liquid supplied by the cleaning device 18, is arranged. In addition, a control device 36 which stops the lighting of the UV lamp 31 of the dryer 30, when the output value of each gas concentration detection sensor 35 is higher than a preset value which is previously set in comparing both values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
