<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a constantly optimum image, even if a deterioration in image quality is caused by environmental changes and the consumption of a component etc., when printing execution data stored in a storage device is printed later. <P>SOLUTION: In the case where all of a plurality of printing execution data stored in an HDD 103 have to be regenerated when calibration is performed by a printing engine 110 so that density correction information can be changed, the order of the generation of the printing execution data is determined depending on the number of times of use of printing data and time information required for the regeneration of the printing execution data. In this case, the printing data is regenerated in the decreasing order of the number of the times of the use of the printing data by checking the number of the times of the use of the printing data stored in the image forming apparatus 1; the printing data is regenerated in the increasing order of the length of time for the regeneration of the printing data, when it is determined that the frequency of the use is high, by checking the use condition of an image forming apparatus 1; or the printing data is regenerated in the decreasing order of the length of the time for the regeneration of the printing data when the frequency of the use of the image forming apparatus 1 is reversely low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
