<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a display backlight using a plurality of OLED displays and one sheet of diffusion plate. <P>SOLUTION: This backlight can be used as an AMLCD (active matrix LCD) backlight. By reducing electric current supplied to a red sub-pixel, and as the case may be, by limiting transmission of light with wavelength 630 nm or more by filtering using material selection or optical thin film coating, the OLED display can be applied as an interchange with an NVIS (night vision image system). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
