<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for adequately performing maintenance of a device by allowing a monitoring host to collect event information of a jam, and providing and reporting multiple jam occurrence information at a timing which is optimum for a user. <P>SOLUTION: Maintenance information collected from an image forming apparatus are tabulated.
