<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, for the printing of a print job of large amount of pages, a method of generating a plurality of print jobs by divided conversion to a printer description language and sequentially sending them to a printing device requires more overhead of processing in the print job units to thus lower the speed of the printing by the printing device. <P>SOLUTION: A printing system comprises means for acquiring the number of pages of print data sent to a printing apparatus and the number of actually output pages from the printing apparatus to determine the number of pages in a print queue, and means for dynamically generating a plurality of print data from a single business form saving file according to the status of the number of pages in a print queue. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
