VOLTAGE DETECTING CIRCUIT AND LAMP DRIVE CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate an output voltage of a secondary winding side with accuracy when the output voltage of the secondary winding side in a transformer can not be directly measured.

SOLUTION: The voltage detecting circuit includes a half wave rectifier circuit on the positive side and a half wave rectifier circuit on the negative side, each connected to an output of each primary winding of two or more transformers or to each output of a voltage detecting tertiary winding provided independently to the primary winding and the secondary winding; a synthesizing circuit for synthesizing a signal having maximum amplitude out of each output of each half wave rectifier circuit on the positive side and a signal having maximum amplitude out of each output of each half wave rectifier circuit on the negative side; a circuit for compensating the output of the synthesizing circuit in frequency characteristics according to the frequency characteristics on the secondary winding side of the transformer; and a circuit for carrying out envelope detection of an output of an equalizer.
