<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a gas sensor capable of suppressing the occurrence of the misregister of an insulating porcelain tube and a gas sensor element and more enhanced in productivity than before. <P>SOLUTION: After an ultraviolet curable resin 280 is applied to the insulating porcelain tube 27 of the gas sensor element 14 at its fixing position, the ultraviolet curable resin 280 is irradiated with ultraviolet rays 281 to be cured to temporarily fix the gas sensor element 14 and the insulating porcelain tube 27. Next, the adhesive housing part 272 of the insulating porcelain tube 27 is filled with an uncured adhesive (cement) 28 and heated to dry the adhesive 28. Subsequently, the adhesive 28 is cured by heating to fix the gas sensor element 14 and the insulating porcelain tube 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
