PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel which can be easily opened and closed and is excellent in safety even when an open-able lid is enlarged. SOLUTION: The vessel comprises a vessel body which has a first opening at its upper portion and can store molten metal therein, a first lid which can close the first opening and is arranged so as to swivel in the horizontal direction with respect to the first opening, a pressurized gas introducing port for introducing compressed gas into the vessel body, and a passage for discharging the molten metal stored inside the vessel body to the outside.
