PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain more proper driving limit of an on-vehicle electric apparatus. SOLUTION: A correction factor k is set using a higher temperature of either of an estimated motor winding temperature Test estimated with a heat loss coefficient h based on a vehicle speed V or a motor temperature Tmot detected by a temperature sensor (S160). An initial value Tmax0 set as a maximum torque for a motor speed Nm from a rated value of a motor is multiplied by the correction factor k to set a motor torque limit Tmax (S170).
