PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photosensitive material having high sensitivity and capable of maintaining good image quality even if processing in which conditions in a desilvering step become bad is performed. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photosensitive material has on a support at least one red-sensitive emulsion layer containing a cyan coupler, at least one green-sensitive emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler and at least one blue-sensitive emulsion layer containing a yellow coupler, wherein the silver halide color photosensitive material contains silver halide grains on which dyes have been adsorbed in multiple layers in at least one photosensitive emulsion layer, and the value of residual color granularity of a hue corresponding to a main spectral absorption wavelength region of the photosensitive emulsion layer is≤1.1×10<SP>-3</SP>.
