PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device, wherein a liquid crystal panel is easily assembled and it is possible to be made thin and lightweight without decreasing the support strength of the liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel 20 is held between panel fixing metal fittings 10 and a panel holder 30 and a diffusion plate 3, and a lamp holder 40 are held between the panel holder 30 and a rear chassis 50. The panel fixing metal fittings 10 and rear chassis 50 are locked with a penetration screw 5 which connects and locks the both.
