PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport method of a heavy load capable of carrying out construction within a short period of time and reducing construction cost. SOLUTION: The transport method includes the first process respectively arranging transport trucks 18 and 19 having slidable frames 45 and 46 arranged in front and behind with rising and falling means 20 to 23 as the center and fixed frames 51 and 52 on both right and left sides of heavy loads 15 to 17, the second process arranging lifting beams 24 and 25 on the fixed frames 51 and 52 extending over the transport trucks 18 and 19, the third process lifting the lifting beams 24 and 25 up to positions having a predetermined height to move it to the above of the heavy loads 15 to 17 by making the transport trucks 18 and 19 travel, the fourth process fixing the heavy loads 15 to 17 to the lifting beams 24 and 25 through a crane 59, the fifth process moving the sliding frames 45 and 46 to arrange them directly under the fixed frames 51 and 52 and interconnecting the sliding frames 45 and 46 corresponding to the fixed frames 51 and 52 by lowering the rising and falling means 20 to 23 and the sixth process transporting the transport trucks 18 and 19 by moving them in parallel.
