PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon woven fabric for electrodes, which is obtained by baking a woven fabric comprising organic fibers and can be used for the conductive layers of electrodes for medical treatments. SOLUTION: This carbon woven fabric for the electrodes, used for the conductive layers of the medical treatment electrodes for supplying electric energy to human bodies is characterized in that the carbon woven fabric for the electrodes is formed from a carbon woven fabric obtained by baking a silk woven fabric, and the single filament density of the carbon fibers constituting the carbon woven fabric is≥330 filaments/in<SP>2</SP>.
