PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet comprising a base film and an overlay film covering the base film, wherein the pressure sensitive sheet keeps pressure sensitive adhesion for a longer time, and to provide an overlay film usable therefor. SOLUTION: This pressure sensitive adhesive sheet 100 is one obtained by forming, on an adherend, a pressure sensitive adhesive agent layer 34 to be adhered to the adherend, and comprises a base film 20 formed with the pressure sensitive adhesive agent layer on one side thereof and an overlay film 30 covering the surface of the base film, wherein the Young's modulus of the overlay film is 200-500 MPa.
