PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front structure of a vehicle body capable of efficiently dispersing a collision load acting on a vehicle front side and enduring a higher collision load. SOLUTION: A shock absorber receiving member 13 projecting forward from a dash panel 3 is installed at a position corresponding to a shock absorber 8 in a vehicle width direction and a vehicle height direction. At the time of collision of the vehicle 2, backward movement of the shock absorber 8 is restrained by the shock absorber receiving member 13, and a collision load acting on the shock absorber 8 is transmitted to the dash panel 3 via the shock absorber receiving member 13 and efficiently dispersed to a frame of the vehicle body. At the time of collision of the vehicle 2, when the shock absorber 8 moves backward, the shock absorber 8 is brought into contact with the shock absorber receiving member 13, and a distance between supporting points of the shock absorber 8 is made shorter than a prior art, so as to heighten flexion rigidity and a reaction force.
