PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear suspension capable of supporting a rear-end collision vehicle certainly by devising the form of the body being crushed in the event of rear-end collision and the form of the load being transmitted. SOLUTION: The rear suspension 8 is chiefly composed of a pair of vetrically directed members 20L and 20R installed on the sides of a rear left 2RL and a rear right wheel 2RR and a pair of trailing arms 10L and 10R installed on the sides of the rear left 2RL and rear right wheels 2RR. The trailing arms 10L and 10R are furnished with backward extending members 14L and 14R extending to behind the part where the vertically directed members 20L and 20R are connected.
