PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which enables the rear part of a recording medium in the conveying direction to be prevented from contacting the nozzle surface of a recording head. SOLUTION: The termination Pe of the recording medium P is composed so that the adhesion force Fb affecting the recording medium P may be at least equal to or larger than the weight of a part (portion of length La) of the recording medium P projected from a separation-starting position S to the downstream of conveying direction in the state of the termination Pe being coincident with a termination E of the area opposite to the recording head 4 (nozzle surface 4a). Thereby, the rear part of the recording medium P in the conveying direction can be prevented from separating and leaping up from a conveyor belt 31 until the termination Pe of the recording medium P at least passes the area opposite to the nozzle surface 4a.
