PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide increased speed of print processing without making circuit scale larger. SOLUTION: An image formation device comprises a PDL-data interpretation means for interpreting the PDL data transferred from a host computer, a main memory for storing image data, a DMA controller for performing a transfer control of the data stored in the main memory, two or more image-processing sections for providing the image data with the image processing, a local memory which is used while the image processing section performs the image processing and a local memory controller which is connected to the local memory and the two or more image processing sections and performs the data transfer control.
