PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polysulfone hollow fiber membrane bundle having excellent hemocompatibility and high water permeability suitable for a blood purifier used for hemodialysis, and also to provide a safe blood purifier having high storage stability, excellent hemocompatibility and excellent performance holding property when being used in contact with the blood. SOLUTION: The polysulfone hollow fiber membrane bundle having permselectivity and containing polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) is provided. The polysulfone hollow fiber membrane bundle is characterized as follows: (a) when a blood contact side of a blood purifier made of the hollow membrane bundle and having a membrane area (based on a hollow fiber internal diameter) of 1.5 m<SP>2</SP>is irrigated with heparin-loaded human whole blood at a flow rate of 150 mL/min for 60 minutes, the polysulfone hollow fiber membrane bundle shows a platelets retention of≥70% and≤98%; (b) eluted amount of PVP from the hollow fiber membrane bundle is≤10 ppm; and (c) when the hollow fiber membrane bundle is divided into 10 parts in the longitudinal direction and a test is carried out on each part on the basis of a manufacture license standard of a dialysis-type artificial kidney apparatus, the amount of hydrogen peroxide eluted in an extract of each part is≤5 ppm.
