PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual-bearing reel which can easily grasp the rotation state of a spool and the braking state of a spool brake device. SOLUTION: A braking state-comparing treatment at a step S42 judges whether the rotation velocity V of a spool 12 coincides with the preliminarily set ideal rotation velocity V' of the spool 12. When it is judged that the rotation velocity V of the spool 12 does not coincide with the ideal rotation velocity V' of the spool 12, a buzzer 50 emits sounds. The larger the deviation of the rotation velocity V of the spool 12 from the ideal rotation velocity V' of the spool 12 is, the larger the sounds of the buzzer 50 are. When it is judged that the rotation velocity V of the spool 12 coincides with the ideal rotation velocity V' of the spool 12, the buzzer 50 stops the sounds. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
