PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transpiration element to be heated, not causing drop of a chemical even when the chemical has a fall, not oozing out the chemical even when large difference of pressure occurred on inside or outside of a chemical container and capable of being stably retained without causing blurring or displacement of liquid-absorbing wick even when external force such as impact acts on heating transpiration device. SOLUTION: The transpiration element to be heated has a liquid absorbing wick (2) for sucking a chemical from the lower part hung and immersed into the chemical and transpiring the chemical sucked from heated upper part, a chemical container for forming an opening in the upper part and storing the chemical in the interior, an inside plug (4) having a cap-attaching part (41) for closely attaching an upper opening of the chemical container to a cap and a cylindrical part (42) for retaining the liquid-absorbing wig (2) inserted into a central opening and a shrinkage tube (5) for integrally hermetically covering the outer peripheral surface of an inserting and hanging-down part of the liquid absorbing wig (2) with the outer peripheral surface of the inside plug (4), and an aeration part (51) passing through a gas, but not passing through the chemical is formed so as to communicate from the interior of the chemical container into the liquid-absorbing wig (2) between the outer peripheral surface of the inside plug cylindrical part (42) hermetically covered and inner peripheral surface of the shrinkage tube (5).
