PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scissoring tool improved in safety of a movable blade and also an appearance in the vicinity of the movable blade, and designed so as to prevent fruits or the like from being damaged by contact with the scissoring tool. SOLUTION: The scissoring tool is provided with the following: a movable blade 60 formed at a fixed receiving member 40 so as to be flexibly turnable; a receiving part 48 receiving the blade tip 62 of the movable blade 60; a covering member 70 extending to the side of the blade tip 62 along both sides of the movable blade 60 from the back of the movable blade 60 to cover the movable blade 60; a biasing means comprising a twisting spring 32 and biasing the covering member 70 so that the movable blade 60 is covered with the covering member 70; and grasping parts 49, 74 grasping a material to be cut W inserted between the fixed receiving member 40 and the movable blade 60 formed at one facing part where the fixed receiving member 40 and the covering member 70 are faced.
