COLLAR FOR REINFORCEMENT, CYLINDER HEAD COVER, AND MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF CYLINDER HEAD COVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of positional precision of a functional device for an internal combustion engine for a cylinder head by preventing positional deviation of a cylinder head cover. SOLUTION: This collar 24 is arranged in a condition in which it adheres closely to an inner peripheral face of a through hole in a plurality of bolt tightening parts 22 of a cylinder head cover main body 4. This collar 24 is constituted by molding a lower end face into a high friction form by a projecting part 24b. For this reason, the whole cylinder head cover 2 does not cause positional deviation on the cylinder head H easily. Since positional deviation of the cylinder head cover 2 does not occur easily even if the cylinder head cover 2 is deformed due to change of temperature and change of internal pressure, it is possible to prevent reduction of positional precision of an oil control valve arranged on the cylinder head cover 2 for the cylinder head H. For this reason, smooth supply and discharge of hydraulic fluid from the oil control valve to a movable valve gear can be maintained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
