<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a person-tracking device for tracking a person with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The person-tracking device is provided with a photographed image recording means 22 for acquiring and recording a photographed image whose photographing area and photographing time are specified, a portrait image detecting means 24 for detecting a figure from the photographed image and creates a portrate image, a featured value extracting means 28 for extracting featured values from the portrait image, a person-authenticating means 30 for determining that persons of two person images, whose featured values are extracted, are one and the same person, or is a different persons by collating the two featured values to make the determination, an authentication result determining means 32 for determining the right quality or wrong of the same authentication result of the person-authenticating means, on the basis of the photographing area and the photographing time, corresponding to each person image of the persons determined as being the same person, and a line of flow calculating means 38 for calculating the flow line of the person, based on the photographing area and the photographing time corresponding to the person image of the person authenticated as being the same person, in the same authentication result determined as being correct by the authentication result determining means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
