<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method reducing a difference in characteristics of reproduced signals between reproduction with a recording wavelength and reproduction with a reproducing wavelength. <P>SOLUTION: In the information recording method for recording information by making a laser light source emit light in a discontinuous pulse light beam waveform consisting of multiple pulses according to the information according to a predetermined recording modulation system, and by forming a mark or a space based on the recording modulation system by irradiating an optical recording medium with the laser light, the laser light source is made to emit light in the discontinuous pulse light beam waveform which is set so that a pulse duration of 3T mark is longer than a head pulse duration of 4T mark, and a percentage of an actual pulse irradiation period to a difference between the head pulse irradiation start time and the last pulse irradiation finish time is not less than 0.7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
