<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium having excellent quick-drying properties of ink and water durability of an image, and obtaining print image quality of a tone like a silver salt photograph with deep image density and high glossiness. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium having at least an optical recording layer 2 and an ink receiving layer 5 on a light transmissive substrate 1, the ink receiving layer 5 contains at least silica and/or alumina having 5 to 50 nm average primary particle diameter, a binder, a cationic substance and a film curing agent, and the surface of the ink receiving layer has ≥15% 20-degrees glossiness stipulated by JIS-Z8741. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
