<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element capable of improving optical stability and maintaining the performance over a long time, and to provide an optical pickup device using the optical element and having satisfactory pickup characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The optical element is molded by using a resin composition comprising an alicyclic hydrocarbon copolymer having a repeated unit which includes at least an alicyclic structure, and at least one kind of multifunctional stabilizer having both structures of a hindered amine structure in the molecule and a phosphoric ester structure of either phosphite or phosphonite structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
