<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively protect an authority such as a copyright that is incurred in accordance with contents of image processing applied to image data. <P>SOLUTION: In each of a plurality of image processing apparatuses M1-Mn2, image processing is applied to original image data S0, contents of said image processing are generated as attached information for each of processing, the attached information is encrypted, and encryption keys K1-Kn are generated. The encrypted attached information is embedded into the image data S0 by steganography and image data Qn are obtained.
