<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter temperature detector capable of attaining reductions in the number of connections to a CPU and insulation circuit elements, thus relieving a CPU calculation load. <P>SOLUTION: This inverter temperature detector, which measures temperatures of respective power switching elements 11 for constituting an inverter, includes a temperature detection circuit 13 which judges whether or not respective phase power switching elements are under enegization and outputs an asynchronous pulse width modulation signal indicating an temperature of the power switching element only when the switching element is under energization. Pulse width modulation signals output from respective switching phases P, N connected to between respective phase inverter input bus-bar voltages vertically in series are OR-connected and are respectively connected to terminals of the CPU10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
