<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure good operability for switching of a lock mechanism and enhance the degree of freedom in the design and layout. <P>SOLUTION: A door lock device is provided with; the lock mechanism 20 which nullifies operation for opening a door by an outside handle 10 when a switching lever 24 swings from a neutral position to a locking position, and enables operation for opening the door by the outside handle 10 when the switching lever 24 swings from the neutral position to an unlocking position; and a torque cable 15 which transmits a key operation force to the switching lever 24 of the locking mechanism 20 to swing it. The door lock device comprises a lever returning spring 27 for retaining the switching lever 24 at the neutral position when the operation force by a key is not applied to the torque cable 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
