<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cutoff valve 10 capable of providing high sealability even if a vehicle is tilted and enabling a reduction in size. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cutoff valve 10 comprises a casing 20, a float 52 lifting by increasing or decreasing its buoyancy according to the level of a fuel in a valve chamber 30S, and a float mechanism 50 put on the upper part of the float 52 and having a valve mechanism 60 opening and closing a connection passage 31b by lifting the float 52. The valve mechanism 60 comprises a supported part 66a, and its gravity center is set under a pivot so that, when the support part 55a of the float 52 is supported on the supported part 66a, the valve mechanism can be kept in balance at on one supported position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
