An anti-rattle device on a car door comprises a plate 25, through which a bolt 17 passes, secured to the door and having a resilient flange 35 which tightly engages the striker plate 21 when the bolt fully engages the said striker plate. The plate has a tongue 32 which reacts against the rectangular guide sleeve 18 for the bolt 17 to react against the tendency of the plate 25 to be moved outwardly as bolt 17 engages the striker plate 21.</p> |
