PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match light sources of both images with each other when synthesizing an image of an outdoor landscape and that of an object with an easy method. SOLUTION: The outdoor landscapes are photographed with a camera 12. The images are stored in a database 11 in association with a photographing place, the sight line direction of the camera 12, time and date of photographing. A position of a dummy light source is calculated on the basis of the designated place, the sight line direction of the camera, and the time and date. An object image 15 is obtained by photographing the object with a camera 14 by using the light source arranged to the calculated position. The image 16 of the outdoor landscape corresponding to the designated place, the sight line direction of the camera, and the time and date is acquired from the database 11.
